To book your appointment online

• You must both be over the age of 18
• You must both have British or Irish citizenship, or you must have settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) or pre settled / pending status providing you made your application before 1st July 2021
• One or both of you are resident in Coventry (you must have been resident in Coventry for at least 8 whole days)
• The property in which you or your partner are resident must be registered for council tax to a Coventry district
• You must know where your ceremony will take place
• You must have booked your ceremony venue and registrars
• The date of your ceremony must be between 29 days and 1 year of your appointment unless you are subject to immigration control In which case your appointment must be between 71 days and 1 year of your appointment
• You will need to pay £46.50 each to book your Notice - there will be an additional fee for those subject to immigration control. This fee is payable at the time of booking to secure your appointment. The payment is a booking fee. Provided you attend the appointment, this will be used to cover the cost the cost of the Notice statutory fees. The booking fee is non-refundable. You can amend or cancel your appointment for no charge providing you give 24 hours’ notice. If you fail to attend the appointment or do not give 24 hours advance notice the appointment reservation fee is non-refundable.
