Request copies of certificates

Coventry Registration Service is pleased to help with certificate requests for births, deaths, marriages, and civil partnerships that took place within the City of Coventry.

We hold official records for all such events registered from 1 July 1837 onwards.

Births, deaths and marriages in Foleshill between 1837 - 1927 all births, deaths and register office marriage records for Foleshill are held at Nuneaton Register Office. If you know a marriage took place in a Foleshill Church after these dates you will need to apply to the Coventry Register office.

Please wait until the death has been officially registered before placing an order. Before you apply, you’ll need:

Details of the deceased (full name, date or year, and place of death)

Applying for a Marriage or Civil Partnership Certificate

The marriage or civil partnership must have already taken place before a certificate can be requested. Before you begin, please have:

Details of both partners (full names, and the date and place of the marriage or civil partnership)
